Indeed I was also wondering[but not losing a lot of sleep over]why I had not recieved even one cd from the MeFi group when I had already recieved all five cd’s from the Burn Baby Burn swap. Then I found out my address had been sent out incorrectly. Luckily Thomas caught me goofing off in Metafilter over some antique computer porn and took the time to e-mail me. I was a little bit confused for a while when I didn’t find Thomas on my trade list but then a few of the MeFi guys cleared the issue up for me by letting me know the trade lists were random because some people didn’t want other people to know their addresses based on what is sure to be for covert undercover conspiracy terrorist internet – I’m an AX-murderer – type reasons.
Call me naive or a internet AX-murderer-in-training, but I personally just wouldn’t get involved in something like blogging or posting or trading CDs if I was that paranoid. Ho hum…it’s just an opinion…now on with wenches/wenchers, THC hits, and loud music for all! :)~
Right now I’m listening to the MOBIUS1 Summer Selecta … number 5 out of 5 CDs recieved from the Burn Baby Burn swap. I’m getting a feeling as I listen to it that it might give Jeff’s hand lettered CD[including “U Mass” by the Pixies]a run for the money as my favorite of the batch.
Oh no…all the tracks after six are static?[fuckeng burners] – Nevertheless Mobius 1 is the iriemon despite this technical difficulty and I like his community blog enough to store it and return.
Thanks to reading Metafilter I was able to get in on two different CD trading groups hoping to discover some new music. The Burn Baby Burn Blogger CD Swap sponsored by two cute guys, Chris and Max, and the MeFi Swap sponsored by Ryin who I just assume is cute too. :)~
I made the same CD as shown above for all the people on my Burn Baby Burn swap list, and so far I’ve recieved two CD’s from that group and none from the MeFi swap so I’m not feeling too guilty that I haven’t mailed those out yet. Plus my MeFi burns will all be different so it’s taking more time.

More…[as you will see no one else but Ozzy made my fantasy list]. But I am curious to find out whether Andrew WK is really a weinee or not. Either he really is that good or he has a uncle stuck up MTV’s butt. AWK will be on Saturday Night Live tomorrow night …. but more importantly THE ROCK is hosting.
Anyway I’ll get a look at him before Ozzfest at the Cotton Club in Atlanta on April 23 along with Apex Theory and Lost Prophets for only $10. Sponsored by guess who? MTV.
