Could this be our next adventure? The Las Vegas Shakedown.  Remember all those times you wanted to be the fire eater in the circus? Or quit your dumb office job and become a stripper? Or just leave home and join a rock and roll band? I got a little taste of all that last week …The Nashville Pussy Chronicles. “Queen of the Damned” movie trailer. I thought it was a Vampire movie? Did you know I have been infatuated with vampires since I read and saw “Salem’s Lot” when I was a kid? Along with Vampires I was also fascinated with The Civil War, Charles Manson, Elvis Presley/Jimi Hendrix/Led Zepplin/Alice Cooper, Hitler, Sun-In/Blistex/, Detective Magazines, John Travolta, Corvettes, and masturbation. But not in that particular order. :)~~ We never outgrow what we knew as a kid…we just keep refining and recycling it. I mentioned earlier that although Johnathan Davis from Korn composed five songs for the “Queen of the Damn” soundtrack he was not allowed to use his voice on it. However it is his voice in the movie as the goth rock star, Vampire Lestat. The Burn Baby Burn Challenge – Week #3 Burn Baby Burn-Week #2 BMF finds the best shit… Get some Pistolwhippers.  We leave in the morning for the Nashville Pussy Roadtrip. We have every good intention to journalize it, blog it, document it…whatever. Our equipment consist of a MAC I-book, a digital camera, and a love of live, hard ass, kicking music. If you ever have the chance to see Nashville Pussy live … do it. You won’t forget it. Burn Baby Burn Challenge-Week #2 – See if you can hunt down and burn the 15 songs listed,make a jewel case cover with the picture of Echo Lounge, then listen and critique the songs. You have 48 hours starting now. Burn Baby Burn Challenge-Week #1 – The hardest song to hunt down was “Pyscho Therapy”, a Ramones song covered by Skid Row for one of their B-sides. But it was worth the effort. And we couldn’t find the live version of Motley Crue’s, “Hell on High Heels”. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I’ll have to go with the new song by Marilyn Manson, “Redeemer” and “Moving to Flordia” by the Butthole Surfers. Its just too good not to pick. My least favorite? “I Stand Alone” by Godsmack p.s. The BMF hidden Track is awesome.  With love, from Fred Here’s what the guy said that started it all.
