I remember when my Dad went through a “I need to build things” stage. He built a gazebo at his house and then decided I needed a gazebo at my new house. So he came over with his tools and built this huge amazing gazebo over the top of a ugly concrete drainage hole. It was an octagon shape that he had designed in his own mind. I asked him what would we do if the drainage hole got clogged up, would we have to cut a hole in the middle of the gazebo floor? He just looked at me and told me not to worry about it. The gazebo stands strong and untouched 18 years later.
I love you Dad.
