If young, talented, spirited, mentally-stable Michael Jackson had died, I would be pretty sad over the loss of someone so talented with such a bright future.

growingup:

But Michael Jackson turned into just another burnt-out celeb whose only publicity was based on the multiple allegations of child molestation, his anorexia, his over-the-top appearance, and his inability to handle his money. He was known to have a problem with substance abuse, and he generally just seemed really miserable. He will always be one of the most talented musicians of our time, and he will be missed. The music industry will never be the same without him. I think we should definitely remember him while he was in his prime. All I’m saying is, don’t hate on people who don’t think it’s a terrible loss that he’s gone. Even if he was found guilty, nobody can deny that Michael Jackson was a pretty messed up human in his later years.
