Help! I’m losing my mind! Is it hormones or what? Nope it’s stress. Try meditation or some of those cure all omega 3 fatty foods like salmon and flax seeds. Blueberries should help too because of the anthocyanin pigments they contain. And yellow spice turmeric has been shown to reduce the risk of the dreaded Alzheimers disease. [more inside]

WTF? Whoa Miss Chicky, You Need To Tame Those Puppies! People always know when you’re coming, because your boobs get there five minutes before you do! Your back must be hurting. Think about a reduction, before your nipples hit your waist.

Take care of your liver. Polyenylphosphatidylcholine is the long word for the antioxidant PPC, a mixture of chemicals called polyunsaturated phosphatidylcholines that are extracted from soybeans. In baboons, PPC resulted in the complete arrest or prevention of alcohol-induced bands of fibrosis in the liver as well as cirrhosis. PPC treatment also reduced the alcohol-induced oxidative stress in animals. Oxidative stress may induce lipid peroxidation, resulting in the generation of molecules that can induce fibrosis.

A study in HCV-infected patients found that PPC improved liver function as indicated by reduced levels of liver enzymes in the blood. PPC appears to be a promising agent, because at least in experimental animals it had both antioxidant and antifibrotic effects and is also devoid of significant side-effects. [via NIAAA]
