BMF says Fan Reviews are the Best Reviews
Following are his poignant instructions:
How to review a new album by your favorite band.
After you get the new fresh album in your hands spend at least a day listening to it from beginning to end
to absorb the goodness because you already know Nashville Pussy isn’t about to let you down. Read the
liner notes and look at the pictures. Then listen to it again while you get high but don’t think too much upon
it just yet … only enjoy it.
The next morning after you feel good and refreshed from a night of frivolity(purrrrrr…;)and during your
morning coffee put that fucker back into your stereo and turn it up. Sit down and start playing your favorite
PS2 motocross game right before you go to work and let the feelings fly. Song by song. Replay them over
and over if you need to.
Gather all your thoughts about the new album and post your review all over the internet and on your own great fan site like the Nashville Pussy Chronicles. Support your favorite band. Buy their music. Buy their
swag. Go see a show.

A he said/she said review of _Say Something Nasty_ 1. “Words of Wisdom” …at first we thought it was one of those Dick Delicious guys and then we were told it’s Blaine’s voice with some kind of distortion filter. Like he needs any more vocal distortion. Kinda reminds me of Alice Cooper’s “Lost in America” . Except it’s about having a band with pussy in it: Pussy it’s all about pussy 2. “Say Something Nasty” BMF – My favorite song on the album. If today were the last day you could ever hear a rock and roll song this is the one to pick. It’s the one song AC/DC wishes they had written. A mix of Nugent Wango and AC/DC’s, “You Shook Me All Nite Long”. [Insert Your Own Favorite Rock Song Here] and you have “Say Something Nasty”. The ultimate guitar riffs…perfect ending to a perfect rock song. 3. “Drunk Daddy” BMF – Makes me want to fight. 4. “You Give Drugs A Bad Name” BMF – I disagree. It’s a new rock and roll anthem. The live version and studio version sound the same. punkarella – whatever. 5. “The Bitch Just Kicked Me Out” BMF – Good song. I’m not really sure what he’s saying nor do I care. I just like the way he sings it. 6. “Keep On Fuckin'” BMF – Another anthem song. If this song were on the radio today it would be #1 forever. Period. 7. “Jack Shack” TRACY Very classy former pussy she is. As far as the song is concerned…it’s not the one I want to play over and over. But others might love it. BMF – The guitar line reminds me of a train. Damn good song. 8. “Keep Them Things Away From Me” BMF – I love the music but I don’t like the singing. 9. “Here’s To Your Destruction” BMF – I like it. It’s a drinking song and it sounds like they are having fun playing it. “Here’s to your destruction…I’ll buy the next round…” And like I already said it has a kind of ‘boogie woogie’ flavor to it that really shows Ruyter can play anything she wants to and play it like no other. Most NP songs make me feel like fighting or fuckin but this one just makes me feel happy. 10. “Let’s Get the Hell Outta Here” BMF – Hillbilly punk. 11. “Slow Movin’ Train” BMF – Reminds me of Bad Company. 12. “Beat Me Senseless” BMF – I love this song cause I love punk. This sounds like a Southernized version of the punk band Fear. 13. “Can’t Get Rid of It” BMF – I like it. 14. “Rock n Roll Hoochie Coo” BMF – I don’t really like the song either but if I have to listen to it I prefer the Nashville Pussy version. 15. Outro – Perfect way to end the album. Reposted and updated on 7/28/17 – love ache for my BMF. ~mc |
