Life is slow suicide. Nine humans in ten are suicides. –Ben Franklin
I guess there must be a little bit of redneck in me. I always liked stock car racing. I’ve been to the Daytona 500 more times than I can count. And my favorite has always been #3.
Today #3 died after crashing into a wall on the last lap of the Daytona 500. Driving right ahead of him to the finish line was his son. A car owned by #3 won the race.
Damn I feel so sad and eerie.
Three days of a water fast … now 2nd day of a juice fast. Oranges, pears, and yams taste so good liquified. Especially after nothing but water for three days.
I believe TV to be boring, evil, and destructive to one’s love and social life so I don’t do much of it. Plus I’m usually about a year behind seeing movies. But I went to see the all new “3000 Miles to Graceland” last night. Too bad it doesn’t start until next week. So I had to settle for “Castaway”. I loved it. I thought it was a little too long … the ending. But it made me cry. And I firmed up a few things I was already pretty sure about:
1. Bottled water is the best.
2. Never put off going to the dentist.
3. All that self-talk I do isn’t such a bad thing. We all need a Wilson to keep us company from time to time.
4. Always keep a Zippo in my pocket.
5. I always knew we should live on earth without time.
6. Exception: If you find the true love of your life … don’t waste time.
