I’m on a wave of ups and downs. Grief takes its toll. Things with the family business and the men in this business is a drag. Everybody is tumbling off their pedestals or fell off a long time ago. Feels like a shooting range.

For the first time I’ll admit to deep depression. Only because I recognize it this time. Last time I wasn’t sure what was happening. I feel alone but not as lonely as last time. I have felt the true love now and it’s sustaining a good majority of the time. I can entertain myself with various projects. I wanted to build a pool but that is delayed. I get triggered by certain persons and have just decided to limit contact and try my best to keep them away from me. It’s pretty sad. But I know the protocol now. I just have to ride the wave and climb up out of the hole so I’ve planned travels!

We had always planned to go on journeys of the states but we were content sheltering in place with ourselves and kept busy with our projects. It’s true that you can only take it one day at a time. But now he’s gone and I have to figure it out for myself, so I started randomly planning a covered bridge trip. “The Bridges of Madison County” was a book that really helped me last time I was in this kind of falling off the cliff depression. So I thought it could be a good project name Main issue is getting anyone to go along with my plan. There is not much interest. So I’ll go it alone and enjoy it for me. It’s for me anyway.

The first state is Alabama. Did you know there isn’t a whole lot to do in Alabama? But there are a lot of covered bridges. Isolated covered bridges. I was supposed to go at Easter but it didn’t get done. I’ll get back to it but along the way this inspired a trip to Alaska! I never thought I would go to Alaska, but we are going on a cruise to Alaska next month for a week. This was very spur of the moment and I’ve wavered a couple times. But the money is spent and it’s a lot of money. So I’m going.

Then it’s Disney World for the second time and probably the only time to go to Animal Kingdom. Last year it was the Princess trip. This time the Lion King trip. Yip!

But New York two times coming up inspired by the one and only Tina Turner whose life story is coming to Broadway. This show has been playing in London and I had pledged if it came to Broadway I would have to go in tribute to me and my mama. I’ve had a life traveled with Tina and my mama loved her too.

So New York. I love New York. Last time I’ve been was with my honey to see Van Halen. Or was it Hole? I’ll have to look at the diaries.

Yep it was Van Halen in February 2012. Hole and Green Day’s American Idiot was April 2010. Has it really been that long since New York?

I’m going to place a couple links here to come back to. I’ve got the tickets and the hotel booked and a incomplete plan. Best time to visit New York City.

I want to stay at the TWA hotel @ JFK. It’s a cool story about how they restored this delightful old terminal. But it’s not really ready yet and I don’t think others would love it like me so maybe a solo trip for this one. TWA

Gonna be good if I can feel good to go. That’s the goal. Feel good! I also continue to work on my very personal BMF project and actually started finally on the Encyclopedia of BMF with MusicFilter. It’s going to be epic. #57bmf4ever always and forever.
